Shipping Policy

Orders are usually shipped within 24hrs Monday – Friday.
Carriers

We use the following carriers to deliver our orders, depending on size and weight:

  • Royal Mail signed-for services
  • DHL, UPS or similar courier
Despatch

You will be notified by email when your order has been dispatched.

If your order is being despatched via courier, we will update you with the tracking information by email (no tracking details for orders using Royal Mail ‘signed for’ services – you will have to sign for the goods to confirm delivery). Some items may be despatched to you direct from the manufacturer or distributor. If this is the case, you will be notified by email and we will endeavour to provide you with tracking details and estimated delivery date. Acceptance of orders where the delivery address is different to the cardholder’s address is at our discretion. If goods arrive damaged you must either refuse delivery (clearly stating the goods are to be returned to sender) or clearly note the damage on the carrier’s delivery paperwork at the time of signing for the goods and notify us of the situation.

Posting or Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the postage and packaging of your order is based on the combined weight of your products, and includes insurance of the goods. The full cost will be calculated and displayed to you when you checkout your cart.

Free Shipping is offered on UK orders valuing over £99 and overseas orders valuing over £999.

Standard delivery is Monday to Friday.

A Saturday delivery can be arranged by request Please email for a quote for this service.

Back Orders

If an item is on back order you will be notified by email and we will ship your complete order when that item becomes available. You may request partial shipment of your order but may be charged for additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

How to Return an Item

Your item must be in an unused condition and in its original packaging to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 14 days of purchase at your own expense.

Please email [email protected] to request a refund and we will send you a returns form. There will be a 15% handling charge deducted to cover our costs
Arrange for return of the item including adequate insurance to: Sound Fidelity (returns), 26 Torland Road, Plymouth PL3 5TS
Include in your package the returns form, fully stating the reason for your return of goods.
Notify us when the item has been sent.

Return Exceptions

Items that have been made or modified to order or purchased by ‘Special Order’ cannot be returned. Some items cannot be returned if they are opened. These include software, audio or visual recordings, phono cartridges and earphones. Goods that have been damaged will not be accepted for return or exchange.

Warranty Repairs

All electrical products are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty. This is usually at least a year, but in some cases may be longer. Warranties cover faults which do not occur from accident, neglect and/or misuse by the user. Routine maintenance (e.g. user interface configuration as specified in the instructions), is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty unless specified. The full manufacturer’s warranty is honoured for all customers. In the case of any fault, please contact us for advice before arranging a return.
